Lily Elefteriadou, Ph.D., professor and director of the UFTI and STRIDE Center, traveled to The Netherlands in June to take part in a doctoral dissertation defense at the Delft University of Technology.  The student defending her dissertation on “Characteristics of Chinese Driver Behavior” was Jie Li, who teaches at the Hunan University in China. Jie Li’s co-advisers, Drs. H.J. Van Zuijlen and S.P. Hoogendoorn, invited Dr. Elefteriadou to serve as a member of the doctoral committee due to her extensive work in driver behavior.
