‘Transportation Equity’ (TE) is a multifaceted research area. The mission of the UFTI‘s transportation equity research group is to 1) conduct interdisciplinary research emphasizing different equity aspects of transportation planning and engineering, 2) maximize our impact on communities’ everyday lives through advocacy and collaborating with non-profit and grassroots organizations, and 3) provide TE training for practitioners and policy makers whose area of work intersects transportation planning and engineering. Our contributors are affiliated with several non-profit and for-profit institutions across the nation and overseas.
