Interstate Transit Research Symposium, December 2-4, 2020

The symposium included well-known experts in the field of transit research such as Susan Shaheen (UC Berkeley), Paul Skoutelas (APTA), and Martin Wachs (UCLA).

The University of Florida Transportation Institute, in collaboration with the California Department of Transportation, and the T-SCORE University Transportation Center at the Georgia Institute of Technology, hosted the Interstate Transit Research Symposium, which was a free, online event that brought together transit experts to discuss the latest in public transportation research in the United States. This virtual event featured talks and panels about important transit-related topics such as transit finance, racial justice, mobility and modality, technology and zero-emission vehicles in transit, and COVID-19. Speakers and panelists included well-known experts such as Susan Shaheen from the University of California Berkeley (UC Berkeley), Paul Skoutelas from the American Public Transportation Association (APTA), Martin Wachs from the University of California Los Angeles, (UCLA).
