Pedro Maldonado, a third-year Ph.D. student, was selected among the nation’s top graduate students in transportation to participate in the 27th Eno Future Leaders Development Conference in Washington, D.C. this June. This conference provides students with the opportunity to experience how national transportation policies are created. Selected students meet with federal officials and leaders of business and non-profit organizations. Upon the completion of this program, Maldonado will be equipped to understand the process of policy-making which will help him become a leader in transportation.
