UFTI Experience Benefits Alumnus Dr. Jing Li 
Dr. Jing Li, is a 2013 UFTI graduate. She is working as an  Assistant Research Scientist at Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI), and favorably reflects on time spent at UFTI, where she gained and accomplished much beyond obtaining graduate degrees. [Read more]

Stephen Spana Interns at UFTI 
Stephen Spana, a senior Civil Engineering major at UF, has spent his summer as a transportation intern working on a project that could help ride-sourcing vehicles, such as Uber, and waiting customers meet up more quickly. [Read more]

McTrans Upcoming Webinar Series on HCM 2010 Major Updates

UFTI’s T2 Center Assists Local Agencies to Maintain Traffic Signs
Traffic signs provide important information to drivers both day and night, and to be effective, their visibility must be maintained. Language in the Manual for Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) describes assessment and management methods for agencies to maintain traffic sign retroreflectivity at or above the minimum levels. Sad News
Our deepest sympathy goes out to Dr. Kumares Sinha and his family on the passing of his wife, Anne K. Sinha, on Wednesday, July 14, 2015 at Indiana University Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana.  Dr. Sinha is a professor of civil engineering at Purdue University, and he is a friend and member of the UFTI’s External Advisory Board. UFTI’s T2 Director Steps Down; New Search Soon to be Announced  
Mr. Chris LeDew has stepped down as director of T2 as of July 3, 2015, as he accepted another position in Jacksonville, to be closer to his family. A big “Thank you” to Chris for his contributions in reorganizing and streamlining the T2 center operations during his tenure, making it even more agile and competitive. UFTI will soon be announcing the search for a new director. [Read more]
