Traffic Simulation Workshop for High School Students

STRIDE and ITE are hosting a Traffic Simulation Workshop on campus for high school students.

Experience the exciting ability to control traffic! Students will receive an introduction to traffic simulation, as its many benefits and uses are demonstrated through examples shown by current University of Florida transportation engineering graduate students. Experience hands-on state of-the-art software, developed at the University of Florida. Students will set-up and run traffic simulations of signalized intersections and experiment with various signal timing strategies to make the intersections perform at their best levels. The workshop is open to all high school students but space is limited.
