The Center for Multimodal Solutions for Congestion Mitigation (CMS) was the 2006 Tier-1 U.S. Department of Transportation University Transportation Center housed at the former Transportation Research Center, currently now the UFTI. The CMS closed it’s doors in 2013. The goal of the CMS was to develop innovative approaches to solving congestion problems.
