UFTI Establishes Collaborative Agreement with the Technical University of Lisbon

The UFTI and the Instituto Superior Technico at the Technical University of Lisbon, Portugal have entered into a mutual agreement that will promote research and educational activities related to transportation engineering. The agreement, also known as a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), will more specifically focus on transportation, driving behavior, vehicle monitoring, and the environment. [read more]

An American Urban Planner in Leeds

Dr. Ruth Steiner, an urban planning professor affiliated with the UFTI, spent the months of March and April 2014 as a visiting scholar with the Institute for Transport Studies (ITS) at the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom. [read more]

UF/ITE Team Comes in 2nd at the International Traffic Bowl 

The UF/ITE Traffic Bowl team competed with student chapters across the U.S. and Canada in the 2014 Collegiate Grand Championship held during the ITE Annual Meeting and Exhibit, August 10-13, 2014 in Seatlle, Wash.
