In order to participate in the online Symposium, register via the Eventbrite link below. Additionally, there will be optional in-person field visits to agencies in Gainesville and Jacksonville. Attendees can register for a visit to Gainesville’s Regional Transit System (RTS) in Gainesville, Florida and/or to the Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) and North Florida’s Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) in Jacksonville, Florida. Register for one or both of the field visits below.

Note: If you want to attend the field visits, please register before Oct 10. The field visits may be cancelled due to COVID concerns, in which case participants who have chosen the lunch option will get a refund.
*Please arrive at the Jacksonville Transit Authority (100 LaVilla Center Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32204) by 9:45 am, October 12. If you live in the Gaineville area and would like to have a ride to Jacksonville, please email Dr. Jacob Yan (firstname.lastname@example.org). The field visit starts at Jacksonville Transit Authority automation and innovation center, where there will be a presentation about JTA’s autonomous vehicle and technology pilots, followed by a tour of the related facilities (e.g., command center, test tract, and the operational intersections). The group will then walk for about 15 minutes to reach the North Florida Transportation Organization. There will be a presentation about the Regional Transportation Management Center, followed by a tour of the technologies powering the center. After the tour, we will be in a conference room to attend the symposium.
** Please arrive at Gainesville Regional Transit System (34 SE 13th Rd, Gainesville, FL 32601) by 9:45 am, October 13. There will be a presentation about the agency and facility, followed by a tour of the facility. The group will then ride an electric bus to the autonomous shuttle station. The tour will end with a ride on the autonomous shuttle through downtown Gainesville. The end point will be the University or wherever we can find a room to hold the Symposium.
