UFTI Student Deja Jackson Awarded UF Dr. J. Michael Rollo Diversity Impact Award

University of Florida Transportation Institute (UFTI) student Deja Jackson was named the graduate student awardee for the UF Dr. J. Michael Rollo Diversity Impact Award. The award was presented to her on April 18, 2017, during the inaugural Inclusive Excellence in Diversity Awards Ceremony, hosted by the University of Florida Office of Multicultural and Diversity Affairs.

The Dr. J. Michael Rollo Diversity Impact Award recognizes inspiring students who demonstrate leadership by committing to actively create a more diverse and inclusive campus community.  Recipients of this award actively promote multicultural education, self-awareness, advocacy, intercultural understanding, and social justice with a commitment to creating an inclusive, affirming and a just campus community.
