STEWARD

The TRC currently operates and maintains the Statewide Transportation Engineering Warehouse for Archived Regional Data (STEWARD).  The STEWARD database contains traffic volumes, speeds, occupancies, and travel times obtained from SunGuide transportation management centers (TMCs) in Florida.  Detector data are available for over 2500 detector locations from the Pensacola, Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa/St. Petersburg, Ft. Myers/Naples, Ft. Lauderdale, and Miami areas.  STEWARD provides a number of daily analysis and performance measure reports, including travel time reliability.  The reports are provided for data aggregations of 5-, 15- and 60-minute time periods.  However, the raw data received from the TMCs is in 20- or 30-second aggregations; thus, the TRC researchers can work with finer resolution data as necessary.  STEWARD can be accessed at http://cce-trc-cdwserv.ce.ufl.edu/steward.
