Save the Date! 3rd Annual UTC Conference for the Southeastern Region

The 3rd Annual University Transportation Centers (UTC) Conference for the Southeastern Region will be hosted this year at the University of Alabama (UAB) on March 26-27, 2015 in collaboration with Mississippi State University.  The conference has a strong focus on research sponsored by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Office of the Assistant Secretary for Research and Technology (OST-R). At the conference, transportation research from the various UTCs is showcased, which brings together transportation professionals, faculty, students, practitioners, and public officials in the Southeastern region.

A call for abstracts will be issued in October 2014.  For more information, contact Dr. Virginia Sisiopiku (UAB) at vsisiopi@uab.edu.

The UTC conference was conceptualized by the STRIDE Center, which is a regional UTC housed at the UFTI comprised of eight universities in the Southeast (Auburn University, Florida International University, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State University, North Carolina State University, University of Alabama at Birmingham, University of Florida, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill).
