Jasper Masciocchi Joins the UFTI as Transportation Education Specialist

Earlier this month, the University of Florida Transportation Institute (UFTI) welcomed Jasper Masciocchi, a civil engineer, into the UFTI’s Transportation Technology Transfer (T2) Center. Masciocchi graduated from the University of South Florida in 2014 with a Bachelor’s in Civil and Environmental Engineering, focusing in Transportation and Geotechnical Engineering. Masciocchi has spent the previous years of her professional career in engineering and surveying in the private sector, mainly in production and project management. She is a licensed professional surveyor and mapper in Florida and she is working towards licensure as a professional engineer. Masciocchi currently holds an Advanced Maintenance of Traffic certificate. She is also involved with the local affiliate of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and currently serves as the secretary for Gainesville’s ASCE chapter.

As a transportation  education  specialist, Masciocchi will be teaching a variety of courses for transportation professionals.  She will also be coordinating  the offering of professional-level transportation courses throughout Florida.  Welcome Jasper!
