The UFTI’s T2 Center is hosting a Dynamic Shear Rheometer (DSR) Workshop on April 12, 2017, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the UF East Campus T2 Center. This workshop is ideal for current SmartPave DSR users, laboratory personnel using other DSR models, and those planning on adding a DSR to their lab in the future.

The workshop combines lecture and hands-on sessions for a practical and effective educational event.

It is expected that by the end of the workshop, participants will be aware of the history of the SHRP and AASHTO T315 test method and understand the purpose and content of new asphalt test methods such as MSCR. They will also have a better understanding of good laboratory practices for sound DSR measurements and know how to prepare their DSR for AMRL certification.
